Niiiiiiiice. I'm surprised such an educated man of higher reasoning can't think of richer vocabulary than resorting to expletives.

    Sigh
First of all, Bill Maher who claims to be informed on everything, and is trying to promote "truth" should know that a Madrassa simply means School in arabic. So if Santorum is teaching his kids in a christian school, good for him!
I watched his movie "religulous" and it was mostly an attempt to ridicule anyone who believes in God, in any way.
He made everyone look stupid, the priests, the rabbis, the mullahs.

Rick Santorum looks like a man of character. I dont think he will win, though...he seems too clean for Washington.

Honestly I don't like either of them. They both seem like the type of people that look down on others for not thinking the same way as themselves. Probably the one and only thing they have in common!

I'm watching that movie now-but I'm having to do it in small chucks because honestly I just can't stand that large of a dose of him!

I think a lot of the movie is editing. And he tries to 'win' the arguments by shocking the people he interviews. I don't he look as smart or 'win' as often if the people he were talking with were as prepared for the topic of conversation as he was.

I also think he picked a lot of interviews from 'the bottom of the barrel' so to speak-I mean you can't get an intelligent interview about theology from someone who carries around signs that says 'God hates fags' and TV preacher who requests you call him Dr when he holds no degree.

Before I started watching the movie I was ranting (in my head LOL) about someone else and how unfair it is that people judge Christians and Christianity based on Pat Robertson and the Westboro church, He's managed to do just that in his movie.

The newsbusters article was very good though. A good quick summary of proof that homeschooling works. I facebooked it for friends of mine who wonder if homeschool is really "good enough". I know some of my friends are outwardly supportive, but quietly skeptical.

Well, I hear our cartoon break coming to an end, time to do a math lesson. Back into the frey...
