    From Google Translator :

The error must lie thus irgenwo in the Win registration. Does someone have ne idea where I to search must?

it didnt' know some of it, so I'm assuming it's slang.

Hopefully new poster will figure it out? maybe she posted in english, but it left it in German and she doesn't know how to fix?

    Hmmmmmm....

Possibly. Or a German person with questions, and can't figure how to register?

I copy and pasted that post into google and that same message is posted in all sorts of discussion forums.

It seems that they must have had some code ( a program) that they used to create accounts, log into, and post that message.

Most of them had the same user name on them. On the once where the user name is a link to a profile etc, I notice in the properties of that link that it links to google. Just plain old google. Not even an affiliate link.

Not sure what the point is unless it was a practice run for somehting else they are planning to do with such software.

I am noticing that most of these spam postings are being posted in this sub-topic area of this forum. I find this fact interesting. I would ask the moderators/forum owners, are these posters going through the normal process to create accounts, or are they somehow gaining access specifically to this sub forum directly.

The other thing that comes to mind is this some really hidden way for folks to leave messages for others that are seemingly harmless.

Vantage, you make me think of Bin Laden sending messages to his cronies!

It might not be a laughing matter. I have in the past, tried to delete such messages and users from any forums I have moderated. Not to do so invites more of the same.

We can report any post we don't like. Have you reported this one?

This just makes me think of when it was all over the news that Bin Laden was giving signals to his cronies everytime one of those videos came out.

Yes, Becky, I reported it some time ago. I ownder if Amanda got it? I usually report and then not post anything. Guys, when you post, they don't come back to read the posts but they DO know they've gotten SOME kind of feedback and it encourages them to do it more. It'd be much better if you just TELL AMANDA and not post a THING!!! Then they (eventually) learn they're being ignored here!

This board kind of runs itself, and Amanda's got her hands full. Since you told her, Jackie, she's just too wrapped up to get to it.

I see these posts as comic relief, nothing more.

I know she has her hands full right now, which is why I only reported it once. It's not that big of a deal. Hope things are going OK with her!

I don't even see her post much at atoz, but then I'm usually only looking at specific forums. I hope, too, that she's okay.
