I am in Texas and we are having our first hard freeze. I had to go out and feed the cows and it is sooo cold. I needed some warm fuzzys and looked here. Merry Christmas to all you wonderful ladies and thank you ALL for being there!

Happy Holidays! (derived from the phrase Merry Christmas meaning "have a blessed time celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ").....sorry, I couldn't resist with all the hoopla, I'm sorry controversy, over the use of any word containing "Christ" by the media or contrary people in general.

All of my best, but more importantly God's best, to you and yours! ~ Brooke

Merry Christmas from FROZEN OHIO!!! My kids are excited about actually having a White Christmas this year, a rarity in central Ohio. So may you and yours be richly blessed as we consider the birth of our Saviour! (Now back to our previously hectic, busy, last-minute schedule..... )

    Merry Christmas!

As for all the P.C. hoopla, I remember asking my mom what "Happy Holidays" meant when I was a child, and she told me it meant "Merry Christmas AND Happy New Year" So, I grew up thinking the "holidays" were Christmas and New Year's.

I had a Jewish prof in college. Went to leave for Spring Break (which to me meant EASTER!), and ran into him as I was leaving. So I started to say "Happy Easter" when I remembered he was Jewish, and couldn't think "Passover" quick enough and just kind of fumbled trying to come up with the right comment and couldn't. He just laughed and replied, "You have a good holiday, too!"

Amanda, I tried to get my ' merry christmas' to come up in red and green, but it wouldn't work.
The text came up as though I chose the colors, but when the actual post posted, it was black as usual.
    What did I miss?
