I would like to recieve post cards from around the world. Or even just the US to use for Geography studies with the kids. Anyone willing to help me out?? Or if you have some other creative idea to help out please share.Thanks Angela
If you are REALLY adventurous, you can try Postcard Geography (http://pcg.cyberbee.com/). I did it one year when I was in the classroom and we had a blast with it. There are a lot of participants, though, so it may be too much unless they have a homeschool group or something like that.
I'd love one from the Ukraine and Romainia!!! Everytime I have to go to the airport in Columbus, I pick up a few postcards to keep on hand. I've found them hard to find otherwise! These are "just in case" someone "needs" one. So I can send you one if you want. I even keep Ohio State Football cards for some of the guys, lol! I have a rather extensive box filled with cards I collected as a kid. I think I have all 50 states, and many countries.

I'll be happy to send some from Georgia, Florida, and Walt Disney World. (I know it's not a state, but it is truly a state of mind. Besides, who doesn't love a card with Mickey on it.) If anyone would like any of these pm me. Anyone want one from WDW? PM me your kids names and "Mickey" will be happy to send them one.
I'm going to mail out a card to everyone who sends us one using the return address on your post card. If you want a post card from us and are not planning on mailing one to us that's fine too. Just pm me your address and I'll mail you one. I've got to scroung up some first. LOL!! We will put some details of where we live on the post cards like say; how our climate is or if we live near a mountain range Which we don't. But if we did we would write the name of the range that way if you wanted to you could look it up on an atlas. Perhaps what the state flower is or even just draw a picture of the state flag. That's just how we're going to do ours. You guys do what ever you want. But I'm looking forward to this so I hope we get at least 1 person from each of the 50 states and ANY other country. Oh and we will be in New mexico next week I'll get some post cards from there and mail to you if you want them. Let me know before Wednesday that way I can make sure to get enough. We would love to play too... we will have to get our hands on some post cards first! I guess I should make a habit of picking some up when we go places that sell them. We usually buy a few for the scrapbook, but none to spare..lol.

I don't want any. . .(we're not studying the states this year and I really have minimal storage!) BUT I have tons and tons and tons from here. Times Square, the Statue of Liberty, China town, and just about anything else I could scrounge up. . .I have. I am happy to get rid of them. More than happy. Elated in fact. . . So if you want a post card from new york city, please pm me your address and if you have a request of a specific landmark you'd like--let me know and if I have it, that's what I'll send. As for creative ideas: we're going to do this one in co-op. We're going to see how far around the world our paper dolls can make it just by sending them to one person. . .then they send it on to someone else they know, and so on and so on and hopefully it will come back. ;-)
