Great time with postcarding! Hi My DC and I have had the best time with this project! We started in Feb. 04. We have all the states, and many countries! We have made well over 200+ trades. With only a handful not sending, as they said they would. We are with a few groups... The best are some yahoo postcarding groups. I only have only come to abcteach to pick up a few hard to find cards. I find that the abcteach and vegS group to be to open to be very safe. So I never give my address here. I feel a little more safe on our memembers only postcarding groups! We have had the best time doing this! And I tell all my friends and family about it! It opens up the world in a very cool way to my kids. They get mail with a small note from far away.... We look the place up, find out info about it. We love it! And have done very well with it! I would do it all over again! But most of our trades are with the yahoo groups, I think that is why we have done so well! LOVE IT! A postcarding mom...
Martine, We just started doing the post card exchange and so far, we're having a great time with it. When Andrew receives a post card in the mail his face lights up and he has so much fun reading what's on the back of them. He has chosen to make a scrap book with all the post cards he gets and (the wheels in my brain are turning here), we will use these as part of his geography lessons in the future... Brenda
I have been working on this for a while now. I have had some folks who do not send the card. You just have to say I did my part and God knows it.
