I'd rather ask them what idiot decided to cancel Reading Rainbow.

My kids never got into Reading Rainbow, but they sure do miss Wishbone! And Zoom, which tends to come and go. It's back on now, but usually right about dinner time for us.

Wishbone is on video, Jackie. We bought two of them at our library not long ago.

    hello

Well, I don't think that watching the Buster as an adult would be wrong. Then you can decide for yourself. I wouldn't want my kids to see it first. Even though they have seen worse I am sure even being homeschooled. I think that is one thing most of us have in common to protect our children.
I don't think the gay lifestyle is for my family or do I think it is right but you and I are not going to stop it. It has been going on for years and still is. It is just that people will watch tv shows and actors even though they are gay so they are saying it is ok to some degree. I don't watch those shows even as adults but it God can't stop it. I sure can't. You have to do what your family thinks is best for your kids. I don't agree with Buster this time but it is usually a very good show.

As far as bratz dolls, Ansley likes them. I bought her 2 for Christmas. I don't see anything wrong with them. We wear bathing suits and at her age depending on where we are she can show her belly to a degree. Two piece suits are fine with me too. I am sure some of you think I am going to -ell for sure but I don't see anything wrong with a little girl who hasn't gotten anything to show off anyway wearing a 2 piece suit. Bratz have cute clothes and look more up to date than Barbie anyway. Everyone has their own children and decisions to make on it. I am very strict on some things but this isn't one of them. My kids actually are very good kids. And No I am not saying just because your kid likes something buy it at all. Just to clear that one up.

Some 2 piece tops are actually quite long.
I just recently got Jeannie some jeans that look so slutty on I'm sorry I bought them, but I had no way to see that until she wore them. They're not trashy, just cut in a way I wouldn't wear on a 4yr old if I had seen it.

Couldn't you have returned them? We don't do two-piece suits, but that's our family choice. I've seen some very nice ones that I would consider appropriate. It's just easier for our family to have the rule, rather than having children whining "But you said THAT one was OK, and I don't see any difference......" And there are sure some one-piece suits that are REALLY slutty!

    bathing suits

Yes, Jackie, you are right. Some one piece bathing suits show way too much. Way too much. I think everyone should have respect for others on the beach or at the pool.
