Greetings Homeschoolers! As promised....Home School Information Zone (HSIZ) is hosting SUSAN WISE BAUER in College Station, TX on Saturday July 19th. Whoop! This is an intimate seminar and tickets are LIMITED!!!! Tickets are non transferable and when tickets are sold out we will take a 25 person waiting list. This is not a book fair! This is Susan Wise Bauer, her only stop in Texas, in a seminar venue where the back row seat is still considered an AWESOME seat in the large book fair halls. We recommend you leave the kiddos at home and get some education for the educator. We anticipate a high volume to be registering early so please be patient if you are putting our resources to their limit. ) For more details and to purchase tickets, please visit http://www.hsiz.org Please read everything carefully prior to emailing us questions. We are busy homeschool moms and just like you, our number one priority is homeschooling our children. Thank you. Happy Schooling! HSIZ Events Committee Home School Information Zone www.hsiz.org
Sheila thanks for posting this! I really want to go and it is so close for me to go. I need to make sure my calendar is open that day and then I'll be getting my ticket!!
Registration has been open for about 4 hours now and it hasn't even posted to several of the moderated loops and we have already sold about 10 tickets. Don't delay too long. Once this hits our local big loop and Taffie...all bets are off as to how long there will be space. ROFL
OH my! Thanks for posting! If anyone from here goes, say so! Maybe we can get together! I have to ask dh first to make sure, but I'll almost definately be purchasing at least one ticket tonight!
Sheila - I live no where near TX. BOO HOO!!! Will you be recording the session and selling CD's for it? THANKS!
Nope! Part of our contract with her says we can't record her. So sorry. I haven't done tickets for today yet but..last night we had already sold 1/4 of them. Tickets had only been on sale 1 day. lol I also think since it is Easter weekend that several had left town so...good for me as I wasn't blasted as hard as I thought it might be. Whew!
