MAN!!! Of all the stinkin....lousy....I'm in PA!!! Not TX!!! Just kidding. She was out our last curriculum fair. I didn't see her speak, but borrowed a CD from a friend. Really great. My middle is doing First Language Lessons and doing well.
We've been using FLL too. Love it although I do beef it up with some extra things. She teaches here in Williamsburg at William & Mary.
I don't beef it up too much. I use the enrichment activity as a guide to create his handwriting sheet from. He's loving it, and to say that for him is huge! He loves to read, but hates to sit! I think next year, I'll be adding a spelling curriculum for him. And we'll be picking a book of "literature" that's age appropriate and try to do a chapter a day read aloud. Thought maybe we'd do activites with that too (like dictation and copywork out of it). I think we'll start with Swiss Family Robinson or something really "boy" or something like that!
Krista that sounds really fun, maybe I'll follow along with you! Noah would love reading Swiss Family Robinson.
We are pretty excited about it. She isn't traveling much and we are the only TX stop. YEAH!!! Do a quick prayer for us because people are already emailing saying the want tickets and as you saw above in my post that went all over the place "All details are forth coming." We aren't selling tickets YET. lol
Wow thats going to sell out fast. I bet those tickets are going to be hard to come by. I bet there will be ticket scalpers at the door ROFL.
Darn, we already have a trip planned to BCS in early June. Can't really come again in July It is amazing that our summer is already completely planned and it is only January.
