Eek! That's my hair in middle school! All natural. Throw in strawberry blonde highlights in the summer and that was my hair! Especially the second picture. So, no I definately don't think it looks unnatural.

Although... a lot of older people would ask who dyed my hair.

My mom used to get in trouble ever new school year for having bleached hair. Her hair was a natural brunette. BUT.... in the Summer sun, it literally bleached to blonde. The nuns never 'bought' her story and she started dying it brown for the new year when she was in Junior High.

I have a serious issue with outside forces putting ridiculous restrictions on hair. Hair will grow back and hair can be dyed. Hair is one of the few non-permanent ways a child can express themselves.

That being said, I don't think her hair is the least bit extreme.

I saw this article on my local news station and I was very surprised they thought her hair was unnaturally colored. Its red. In fact I think its beautiful on her. I think the school is in the wrong here.

What some people need to understand about the school though is that the town is small, very judgmental, and super conservative. They are not open to new ideas and they have a mentality that I cant even explain. I am not speaking from experience as I have not lived there, however I had a best friend in high school that moved from there to CA and her family left because the people were all very harsh and judgmental. My friend got suspended because her shorts were too short. Her shorts were almost to her knees, but the principal wanted shorts to be at the knees. There was no school policy about shorts when she got suspended. Her family fought it but lost because the town sided with the principal who they knew and not these "outsiders". Very sad if you ask me.

REALLY!!! You know, I was at the library the other day, and the gal behind the reference desk had a GREEN MOHAWK!!! SERIOUSLY!!! So the color of this young lady's hair seems very much within the realm of natural.

I had broght pink hair once. Picture for a moment a big, frizzy, curly mop of Hot Pink hair! I changed it because Pat had a very important Doctor's appointment and I didn't want him thinking I was a Kook. lol.

There is absolutally nothing wrong with her hair. In fact, I think the stylist did a fantastic job on it! It looks very natural to me. Don't know why everyone's panties are in a bunch.

I hate to think what they would have done to our son Bobby! His hair was orange-red in 9th grade and it was naturally that color. It is much darker now. I thought that young lady in the picture was the mom at first. She looked much older that 15 to me.
