Did they ever get to Grace on Little House on the Prairie? When I watched it, they only had Carrie! So you win on that one Jackie!

You're close on the teacher's name! It starts with a B.

Shall I give a clue for the horse's name? I guess I will. The name is the name of another animal! :)

    I love Little House!
The horse was Bunny. Pa had to shoot Bunny and caused a lot of tears. Here and on the show!
The teacher was Miss Beedle or Beetle. I think with a d. Not sure about that one.
Grace was the little blonde girl they had last.
The twins who played Carrie were Lindsey and Sydney Greenbush I think.

Right you are Beth! You WIN! Miss Beatle, and Bunny!

Their actual names were Rachel and _________ (I forget). Their middle names were Lindsey and Sydney (sp?). And their last name was a mixture of their mom's maiden name, and their dad's name (obviously Green and Bush). I learned that from Rachel when she was at summer camp in So. CA.

I think I missed the episodes with Grace, somehow!

I'm going to have to be off the computer for awhile, so I'll give the answer to the other question about SIBLINGS: Melissa Gilbert played Laura, and her brother, Jonathon, played Willie Olson. The other siblings were Matthew Laborteaux (I had to look up the spelling of that one!), who played Albert Ingalls, and his brother Patrick, who played Andrew Garvey.

AND, did you know that Melissa Gilbert grew up and married my heartthrob from Scarecrow and Mrs. King (Bruce Boxleitner)? I was so jealous! ;)

Hey, I knew all those too! I didn't see those questions. No I am wrong, I didn't know Andrew Garvey was Albert's brother. In real life of course. Did Albert die on the show when he was older or did they just leave it hanging. I remember he was dying and he and grown up Laura and the kids from the school went with the school teacher to the top of some mountain and there was a big emotional scene where they are in a circle lifting up their hands. But on an earlier episode where Albert is hooked on morphine Laura says something about when Albert became a doctor. I just wondered if anyone remembered.

I didn't see the later Little House stories when they were more grown up. Awhile back, though, I DID see one with Alanzo and Laura going somewhere and having baby Rose with them. Alanzo sits Rose down on a chair outside a store and runs in to get something. Meanwhile a lady grabs Rose and takes off with her. Then the story is about them searching to find her. Has anyone seen that one? It was pretty good, and the first one I'd seen of Laura that grown up.

I have seen all the little house ones and still watch them on tv. We are watching one right now. Laura is the teach so she is grown up. Pa always called her Halfpint

After Laura had baby Rose she had a boy. He died when he wasn't very old and she became very bitter with Dr. Baker and wouldn't let him treat Rose when she got sick. Almanzo goes to get Dr. Baker anyway and he does save Rose but Laura tells him when he first gets there that no matter what happens she still blames him for her baby's death. Then the doctor is leaving town and Laura comes and says she is sorry and gets him to stay. That is a good one but when she gets up on the morning the baby has died and sees him dead in his cradle it is so pitiful! I get too involved with these shows. Don't even get me started on the Waltons!!!

Oh I know. I love to watch the re-runs of both shows. They both come on here starting at 8AM and it is so tempting to watch them and let the girls sleep late. It is just better if I don't turn the tv on in the mornings except to hear the weather. My Daddy used to come over to our house at supper time when we had lots of foster kids with us. He lived right across the street and he liked to see the kids sitting at the table. He said it was just like the Waltons. I get all weepy just thinking about him standing there watching the kids. My Daddy was a gentle giant type of guy and loved to see kids eating all they wanted. He had a hard time dealing with the fact that most foster kids went back home. I still miss him so much after nearly 12 years. Beth

Marsha Woolery was his first kiss but his first real love was Jenny Pendleton (not sure about the last name there.)
