I was just reading nancysv's blog and she was saying that in tomorrow's paper, in the Parade, there will be an article about their "bike ride". Can't wait to read more. For those of you who have been on here for the past 2 years or more will know that they are biking from the farthest point north (in Alaska) to the most southernest point in South America. Husband, wife and twin sons. Very interesting to read
Yes, I talk to her alot on facebook and yes its in the parade I read it already wonderful write up about the family. I am so happy they are getting to do this sound so neat. I could never do it to lazy and like a/c and my bed to much. LOL I love reading about them and seeing what they all are doing its neat.
I agree with you Kris. When we go camping, we use fil's RV, with all the necessities I have at home It sounds so interesting for someone else.
Amy, I think you can get on line and look for it let me check to see if I can find the website hold on one minute.
I opened Parade and saw the article on Sunday and couldn't believe it. I was so excited and showed it to Freddy. He thought what they are doing was so cool. I enjoy following their adventures, but I would never make it. I'm like Kris. Love the ac and my bed!
I just saw a video on Yahoo! It mentioned the Parade article. The boys seemed annoyed that the news guy thought they were still ten years old when by now they're twelve. The kids didn't come across as terribly articulate, but I guess that's "typical 12" ...
Yes, Lindina I saw that segment on GMA this morning! It was great, hard to believe they are almost at the end!
Rachael was just showing me an article about them on Yahoo! I wish I had known they were on GMA. I would have watched it. (BTW, what is Parade?)
Jackie, Parade is a magazine insert to the Sunday Paper, and you can go to abc.com and see the Gma segment.
just watch it on line. the boys are sure growing, so cute they look so shy... but I thought Nancy did a wonderful job. Happy Birthday John
this is where I found it Jackie.. just type in the family on the road on bikes... http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/
I've enjoyed hearing about their journeys. I could see my husband and oldest doing something simliar not so far or long but for me and the younger two, we'll be driving the truck towing our camper behind them.
Wow! That was a great article. LOL, the boys could have put in some more input other than, "Yea" and "There is lots of people". LOL
Meg I think they were scared and nervous... they are young and all this stuff is alot for them I am sure.
