what does all the abbreviations mean. In the dark LOL

    What in the world are you all speaking? LOL
    When you abbreviate if it is any more than LOL I am totally lost.

    please clue me in to this new language.

    Here's a few that I know:
    dh- dear or darling husband
    dc- dear or darling child or children
    ds- dear or darling son
    dd- dear or darling daughter
    imo- in my opinion
    imho- in my humble opinion
    rolf- rolling on the floor
    mil- mother in law
    fil- father in law
    sil- sister in law
    bil- brother in law
    nt- no text
    these are just a few that are off the top of my head.

    I think LOL means Laughing Out Loud.

    Thats right lol means laughing out loud..

    Here are some more that I think we homeschoolers invented and/or use a lot

    hsers homeschoolers
    ps public school
    ds,dh,dd can also mean *darn son, darn husband, darn* lol depending context
    WTM The book titled The Well Trained Mind written by a public teacher turned hser.
