Whatcha Havin' for Supper tonight?

we are having pancakes, eggs and bacon, I really love them and my dh does too, but I hate making them I don't know why? but going to give in and make them for him today.

 

I am making a big crock pot of chili for the game. It should be ready about noon. After that we will probably not want to eat supper!

 

We are having chili dogs with slaw and ??

We usually have a simple dinner beause its grocery shopping day...... My DH doesn't like shopping and I don't like putting things a way.

I am making chicken pot pie for lunch.. from left over chicken and dumplings.... we didn't have any dumplings left because they like that part most..... so I just have to add some veggies to the chicken and soup part and a bisquick crust.....

You must all think I use bisquick every day, but I don't!!

Chili sounds good, I'm making that next week after we have pinto beans and fried chicken.
I love having breakfast too Kris but it is a pain in the tush to make..... every thing being hot all at the same time (I usually make scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and home made waffles and cut up fruit-- DH doesn't like waffles so I make him toast.)

 

For supper, Dh was at work, kids had pizza, then I put them to bed and made me a baked fish sandwich. Nothing much. Our lunch was a little more strange. Gianna had mac/cheese and a hot dog. Elijah had Raiman Noodles, mac/cheese, Dh had pancakes and I had a left over hamburg with mac/cheese. They think I run a restaurant and I'm a short order cook

 

We're having a late supper. Today was my dh's Birthday!!! He ordered Garlic Jim's Pizza---oh honey, it's the best!!!

 

going to try Meatloaf in the slow cooker, found a recipe for it.. first time I made it..

 

Well I have no idea what we are eating today since I won't get to go shopping until later today but last night we had chicken fried steaks, mashed potatoes and gravy, fried okra, and a carrot broccolli cheese veggie thing and cookies and cream ice cream.

 

Spaghetti for supper tonight. It is usually our Sunday lunch, but we had a reunion to go to - Don and the children went, I stayed home and relaxed with a book

 

We are having:
fried pork chops
augratin potatoes
lima beans
hush puppies

 

We had chili last night and we're going to have it again tomorrow. It doesn't FEEL like fall here, but at least it tastes like fall. :lol:

Yes, I know it isn't fall yet, but football season has started! That's close enough!

 

Chili sounds good. I think I am going to change my menu this week and have chili on Saturday if we don't go to the beach.

Tonight we are having beef enchiladas.

 

Hearty Sausage Skillet tonight. And I may make a pumpkin cake, too.

 

We're having cornbread and baked beans (veggie style). I may make a crumb cake as well---my family loves those!

Tonight our dinner is "Help yourself". I have nothing planned. Does anyone else ever do this? It will be pot luck -

 

We are having Hamburgers and french fries (2 of the kids are having chicken nuggets)

I have corn bread mix in the cubbord but I forgot when we are supposed to have it.

Tommorow we are going to have turkey, stuffing, green beans and rolls.

 

We are having Italian sausage and noodles and salads. Ohio Grandma, if my son was old enough to help himself we would have those nights. Actually, he can probably help himself now, it is just to the stuff HE wants!:lol:

 

Well, I had left over spaghetti in the frig, so that's what I decided to have. I guess it will be pot luck another night

 

YES! We call it "Whatever Night", and my kids will sometimes ask for it specifically!

 

Chicken on the George Foreman grill and hash brown casserole here tonight.
