Does anyone ever finish a subject before the 180 days rule? New to homeschool and its going to be a junior in high school. I am wondering if for instance we started with 3 subjects and worked a nice pace that wasnt too spread out and one that wasnt too fast if you get done early and then do 3 different subjects? If not how many classes do you teach a year?

You might want to check your state laws to find out if you even need to comply with the 180 days that other states might go by. The HSLDA website is good at giving a quick rundown of state laws and requirements. Be sure to note the compulsory age requirements, too. Here in IL, it is all 7-16 years olds must be under instruction. Your Jr. in high school might not be subject to any regulations at all.
