I DO, I DO, I DO (Ooops I mean we do). Let me know when you're ready to start. We're in the middle of a move (moving in two weeks) and will have to get you a new address...

I don't know if you want us to help since we live so close (not much difference "geography-wise".) But, if you don't care, the girls would love to help (me too!)

I think we could swing another one this year. We had so much fun with the last one. Do you have any idea how many ppl you are looking for? Did you participate in Deena's? I miss her!!!!!

I'll check in later after I get some more details from you to base a decision on. I had spoken to another person who thought about heading up another one and I need to find out from her if she is going to do it or not. (cough, cough....Brenda   )

BTW, I'm from IL but live right next to Iowa and Missouri if you would be interested in either of those states as well.

Buckley's is really good medicine for coughs (but it tastes awful)

I had planned on getting it going once we get moved, but if we'd all rather get involved in Jimmie Lu's I'm fine with that (I still have the names and maybe even addresses of those who wanted to participate - mind you it's packed away right now, but I do have it and I know where it is). Simplicity seems to be my plan these days (whatever that is).

Actually, I think Jimmie Lu is one of the people who wanted to do this project when I mentioned it on abc. I was making some preparations for this and have the maps of the US and of Canada and have been gathering intersting things to send along...

We're moving this weekend (we weren't supposed to move until next weekend but we have to move when we can get the help so hi ho, hi ho it's out of this neighbourhood we go YAHOO!!!) so I'll gather the stuff next week when we begin the process of unpacking (won't that be fun - NOT).

I don't. As much as I really enjoyed Chinook, we're just not ready to do it again yet. I'd like to head one up a few more years, when Phillip gets older.

HOWEVER.... I've a friend that I think would love it. She's got three kids...2 DS (9 and 8) and a DD (6). Trouble is, she's NOT connected to Internet. She's one of those who fights it like crazy :) ! But I would be willing to talk with her, and if there's any info she needs to know you can always let me know and I'll send it on. We're in Central Ohio.

One of the main things that I would like to find out is if you (Jimmie Lu) are willing to post the package progress on the forum? I plan on spearheading my own project when my youngest is a bit older, but for now I'd like the kids to at least be able to track progress on the map and so forth.

Anyway, would you be able to give a rundown on a special thread here of the expected journey and then update as it reaches each destination? Sorry if it sounds like I'm being really picky with this thing.....I just don't want to fill our year with extra stuff....but if it were something for our geography, not just the package host, then I would love to get involved.

Thanks for answering all my questions  , as I am sure you are so graciously going to do!

I missed the abc project. What type of project is this, and what would we need to do?
Keep us posted. This sounds like fun...
    I'm interested, Tammy :D

Yes I will keep a thread on the progress and pass along photos if I can!! This is going to be a stuffed poochie whose name is cocoa!! He will have a note book and the rest is up to you. You take him around your area to places of interest and journal about it etc... Add some photos a post card and a sovionier I think in Chinook people added a scarf and others were putting pins on it just fun stuff. After you have it a week or so you mail him off to the next person on the list. After the last person has it they send it back to me. So after each person has it they can post what he did and who he is off to.
And Heidi I do not mind if you do the project even though you are in PA. We all have different fun stuff in our ares of PA. Like we live in the coal region and Lancaster is the heart of the Almish so I dont mind!!
