Oh see I didn't need to see about cocount marshmallows!!! Now I need to find them!!! We are heading out again in the travel trailer this week for the last time until August (I know sad isn't it??) and we do S'mores every night
Hold on.... TM has a real NAME??? and a blog that she COULD share with all of us I"m still stuck on the name thing though......
OMG... strawberry or coconut marshmallows???? I am on my way to Walmart here in a few minutes and they are soooo going in my cart!! MT3.. I love the game ideas!! I'm gonna jump on them when we get back. Since this was a spur of the moment idea to go, and we packed 3 totes with stuff 3 years ago, we need to go through it and figure out if we need anything.. so that will be my day today, we leave tomarrow... wooo hoooo!
We have the strawberry marshmallows right now. The kids LOVE them, I'm not as excited, I prefer the standard. I haven't tried the coconut ones yet, I may have to get those today, but I am the only one in my family that likes coconut. I'm a little jealous of al of you going camping, we have only been twice so far this summer. But I did choose to stay home and see fireworks instead. Our town does awesome fireworks so it will be worth it and maybe we can go camping next weekend. We haven't been to Yellowstone since the snow melted. HMMM...
Sommer we did that! Packed up stuff with totes, turned out that we had canned foods and so me interesting looking marshmellows in the one tote too! Lol Also found out we could have used a few less items than wehad. Turned up with two stoves, one was given to us on the prior camp out two years prior lol. Now we go at least once a summer. Make sure you have sunscreen, bug spray and fire starter cubes! lol. Thats the main stuff in our one bin, turned out that one summer which was the great adventure summer ( long story wont go there) we had 5 containers by the time we got home of near full bug spray, wipes etc! lol
Yeah - if I ever met you in person it woud be hard not to just say 'TM'!!! Ok - so I will look for coconut marshmallows or when DH goes to Walmart this week.... Ick on strawberry..... just the thought.... but roasted coconut gets me excited
yeah , the strawberry ones are not so yummy to me , and I love strawberries but its fake tasting to me, The coconuts you have to be careful not to burn thme on the stick though!
Ok.. I got strawberry and coconut.. and Rylee was going nuts... all through the store "Mommy, I LOVE strawberry!!!" That was all she could think about...lol. Back on topic, at the dollar tree I got colored index cards to make the pockets in my folders
oh cool! maybe thats where I needed to go, I need thhem for the time line thing anyway so I may still get some. Coolio!
I just got back from Walmart with my coconut marshmallows, LOL. The boys HATE them. I made a microwave smore as soon as I got home, and it was VERY yummy
I had to put them back in the walmart bag because I kept wanting to open them..lol I can't wait to make them tomarrow night!!! I'm gonna get some of that jiffy pop popcorn in that pan thing.. I think the kids will like that too This is our big "back to school bonanza".. but don't tell hubby or DS... they think we are taking a relaxing vacation! The state park we are going to has an orienteering thing.. you know using a compass, I'm sooooo excited!! I've never done such a thing. I think I may see if there is a letterbox there too!!
what isle did you find them on? I only found the plainones and rainbo ones at mine a few mins ago lol
I thought about getting even more wild and getting some Hershey's with Almonds, some Krackle and some Mr. Goodbar... but then I thought that maybe the new marshmallows were enough of a culture shock for us..lol.
yeah, and you dont want the nuts! lol, I dont thinkk they would melt to well , for me I wouldnt try it cause id probably break a tooth or something on a hot almond! Lol
Yep, more for me. Which is exactly what I don't need, LOL. I bought some of the jiffy pop popcorn for our next trip and stuck it in the camping box. We have done that before, but it has been awhile. The orienteering sounds really fun. I've never done anything like that. We do love letterboxing, and always look for boxes when we travel. The state park in OR we went to a few weeks ago had some awesome boxes. Although we couldn't get to some because of flooded creeks and washed out bridges.
