My daughters have clothes galore. THey have clothes that they wear, hardly wear and never wear. I am an avid garage sale person and cant pass up a great bargain...(sigh) It seems like they wear the same stuff all the time so I thought about down sizing their clothing to just a few outfits. I do laundry EVERY day so they always have clean clothes. Its just amazing how much they have accumulated. Is this odd that I want to do this...LOL

have your own garage sale. If its not a bg deal let the kids make money off the clothes they sell.

I agree with Amy, and yes I would down size too, everyone including adults think we need tons and tons of clothes and only wear a few things. It's nice to have them for special things but not alot.

I need to do the same thing. I plan on bagging up some things on Saturday to take to a thrift shop that sells things and the money goes to Bill's adult day program for handicapped adults like him. We have way too many clothes around here that never get worn.

Sounds like a great idea to me, and since we just moved I'm going to start going through our stuff and getting rid of things we don't need or use as well! This will hopefully give me more room for baby stuff!

I love going to garage sales but I hate having them. However, this year I am...I have so much stuff! My kids have way too many clothes and toys, so I understand. I want to get rid of the junk...and get more junk...LOL.

When we moved across country a few years back, I paired all my kids down to 10 outfits each for each season (spring/summer, fall/winter). I did the same to my husband and I.

I HATE that we have too much again (we have people who give us stuff constantly!). I would garage sale a lot here too.

    So....in a nutshell, no you're not crazy!!!!

If they aren't wearing it, and it would bless another person, I say go for it!

We just gave away a huge garbage-size bag of out-grown clothes and shoes and toys and things, plus stuff that we weren't wearing anymore. I thinks it's very common for people to do that, as I see lots of yard sales! :) Problem is, yard sales are also where people tend to buy MORE stuff cuz it's cheap! :D
