Craft kits for homeschoolers, just curious. Like say one kit had supplies and directions to make 10 handmade cards (With envelopes). and not simple cards but really nice detailed cards And another kit had supplies and directions to make a your own homeschool scrapbook/yearbook type thing. Another may have a weekly jewelry class with 4 projects and supplies, enough to cover 1 month of art. Another question Would you pay to attend a monthly craft class for homeschoolers and parents? For example a card making class that runs for 3 months. In each class you make 5 cards and learn a new technique. Or some other craft where you would have a finished project at the end of the class. If so how much would you pay for either one? If not why wouldn’t you?
I think the class is a good idea. Would I pay for one? That depends on the cost. It would have to be fairly cheap, considering the attendee would also have to pay for supplies. Or you could charge a higher rate, and have all supplies there. Another option would be doing a different (simpler) project each week. Then you could charge less, but charge PER WEEK, or a reduced rate for the whole month.
I personally wouldn't, only because I make my own cards and also like to do and find craft projects from all kinds of sources. But that is just me - I'm sure others would like to have it all done for them.
All the supplies would be included in both options. ( the kits and the classes) You just bring yourself. You would only pay for the class. It wouldn't only be cards,I just used paper crafts as an example. It could be soap making, jewelry, candles, anything. I am leaning towards the classes. A local co-op has asked me to teach craft classes but before they asked, I already was planning to do it anyway on my own. The co-op would require more of my time, time that I don't have. The co-op wants me to do 2 classes a week for 2 months. I'm really not so sure about that.
