Since they decide the fate of who is the president then they were responsible for the stopping women voters and slave voters as well as poor voters. If all states were equal they would have the same number of votes reguardless of size and population.

It would probably be best to move to the other thread since there are now two open.

Growing up, all of our elementary schools were year around. Then our high schools went year around but the hours were reasonable and the reason had nothing to do with a better education as much as rotating the students around because we didn't have enough schools for the number of students.

The high schools have since gone back to a traditional year and some of the elementary schools are still year around. But our year around looks and sounds nothing like the year around that the article suggests.

My husband refers to public schools as goverment schools... they want to keep your childern far away from and Godly training as possible. With the Obama admin. you can be sure he will try to make it hard for parents to homeschool there kids. look at what he has done, no millitary personal can speak at any religious gathering now, how crazy, to think he is trying to cut our freedoms again. I don't know about you guys, but it makes me more determined to keep my "eyes upon the mark".
now, back to year round school, some homeschoolers here in tx, do that, they school in summer,(maybe cause its too hot to do anything but stay inside, south tx is!!!) and take a month or so break in the winter time, mostly around the hunting season, how fun to be able to hunt during the week, while your friends are in ps. works for them.
ps just want more control over the childern. the more they have them, the more garbage they can feed them.
(sorry if my spelling is wrong... type too fast and miss them sometimes)
