We raised honey bees when I was a kid. Never a summer went by without stepping on one....or five!

A friend raises bees, and wanted to put one in our yard. If I had a large yard, I'd be OK, but it isn't. Maybe after the kids are gone, and I can actually have a yard again, lol!

Awesome pics! I am SO slow with a spring garden this year since I had a wedding to help with. But since I am in Louisiana I can have something planted almost year around, so I just put melon seeds in the ground a couple of days ago.
I LOVE your mint pic. Mint is a beautiful plant. Do you mulch? I have to since I have an abundance of clay soil.

Would LOVE to have a garden but with the drought and water shortages here it just doesn't make sense.. hopefully next year..
