My job is with children and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE every single one of them. Some of them have pulled on my heart strings a bit more than others because of their circumstances. One in particular is having a very rough time. She is 10 years old and is fighting a very tough battle that NOBODY, especially a child, should be fighting. She came to me the other day and told me that "the man is back in my head, He's telling me to hurt children". "I'm not going to listen to him though". I gave her a hug and talked to her for a bit. Told my supervisor what was going on and she took her in the office and talked to her. She told her to say "JESUS" OUT LOUD every time that happens and the other "man" will have to flee. She needs all the prayer she can get!! Another child we had was removed from both parents the other day after his dad beat him with an electrical cord. Not sure if we will ever see him again. It's such a heartbreaking situation. BUT my supervisor is trying to get custody of him so who knows.. THEN a girl that worked with me this past summer had a baby and it was STOLEN. He's been gone for 3 days now and is less than 2 weeks old. He is on medication for something and also breastfeeding. Please pray for these children in particular. There are so many things that I encounter every day with my job. Some days it's so much that it really starts to get to me. Pray for me too. A coworker of mine bought a bible for one of our "club kids". She was super excited when another club kid brought one. Said she had never had one before and always wanted one. She was so happy today when she received her first bible with her name engraved on it. She was almost glowing all day. THIS JOB IS A MINISTRY!! Jesus WILL be shown to these kids. As program Coordinator I get to do DAILY DEVOTIONS for the kids. I'm SUPER EXCITED!! I'm sure we will encounter some backlash with all of this because satan will do whatever he can to tear Christ's work down. But in the end, we all know who will win.
I am praying for all the kids in your group . It is really hard to see the kids go through these troubles at such a young age . Love them and be there for them whenever they feel scared and lonely . Love is the answer for most troubles .
I know on another forum the admin excluded a certain user from using invisible mode. Some boards actually do set a forum as private; others just add a password.
