Getting to know you...

I've played this game on a couple other boards, and it's always so much fun! Someone lists three things about themselves, and if you have one of those things in common, then you state which thing it is, and follow up by posting three new things about yourself. For instance,Sally may say:

1) I like peanut butter with my toe jam.
2) I have a pink pig named Floyd.
3) My car only has three tires.

Then Susie would realize that she, too, enjoys toe jam with her peanut butter, let's everyone know about their similarity, and then posts three things about herself.

Wanna give it a try? Here are my three things:


1) I have a son in college.
2) My husband works shift work.
3) I don't enjoy cooking.
 
Okay, Sheepish, let's see: I also do not like to cook.

1) My husband is from the Caribbean.
2} I met my husband and married him in Denmark.
3) I have 4 kids, one grand and one on the way.
 
Ok, I also have 4 kids, but no grands.

1. I married my high school sweetheart.
2. I live in CO.
3. I love chocolate, especially the dark kind.
 
I also have 2 daughters (and two sons)

1) I love to bake
2) I have a phobia of driving
3) I'm 32
 
I'm in a seriously messy room, too! (And the mess is mine:roll: )

1) I like to spin
2) I have freckles
3) my grandparents are German
 
oh I have some German grandparents too. (On my father's side.)

1. I'm a single mom.
2. My house is usually a huge mess but is clean today.
3. I love to travel to unusual places.
 
My house is usually a big mess (but it is NOT clean today!!). Oh, and I also love to travel to unusual places. (I hope it's o.k. to list two things!)

2. I read in the bathroom because it's the only place no one bothers me!! :) :oops:

3. We like to go boating as a family.

okay, I am in a MESSY room, but we're working on it.. I love to travel too !

2. My hubby was my first and only real boyfriend!
3. I have a need to live near the water, with out it I feel lost!
 
I love to cook too. Hate the clean up though.

Yikes, somehow this got messed up after Leslie. I don't have any the same as sloan, but back to Leslie's I do: I also love fall! Oh yeah, with sloan's---my sister had pretty near that many foster children over time also! Does that count? :)

3. I taught in a school classroom for a few years before choosing to stay home and homeschool.
 
I love scrapbooking, too!

1. I have a twin sister. (fraternal-we look NOTHING alike)
2. I met my hubby in a college sociology class (We became more than friends shortly after serving on a missions trip together.)
3. I have a double major in psychology and sociology

BTW... as much as I hate it, my house is usually a bit messy, too. It's decent today though. :)
