Getting to know you...

with five cats in my house, i understand 'fur coat' all too well :lol:

1. while i get away with putting of my dental appt, dh has one this morning in 30 min :p

2. cindy just asked me if we could 'do some school anyway and teach christopher and kayla too' -- and we just might mmhhmm...

3. i'm hungry. i suppose i could, like, eat breakfast. :idea:
 
I am putting off a dental apt too. I know I need a cleaning but I have to do the kids filings etc first, then I will do me.
1. We have a drama king and queen in my house!
2. Today we get to go play with Moses!
3. I am going to bring ds 10 along to play with my friends son.. he has been looking for a friend to play with so I thought, why not MY son?
 
1. Dh is cooking dinner - venison tenderloin and venison sausage, some sort of noodles or past, corn and baked beans.

2. Samantha and I went to a comedy club last night and had an absolute blast!

3. Dh and I are going to watch Ammityville Horror tonight while the kids watch Madeline.

i read this as "dh and i are going to watch ammityville horror tonight with the kids" and went :eek: :lol:

1. cindy and i are going to the marine training (it's part of a college - not marine/military) this afternoon with some other hs'ers for a tour/presentation on being a ships captain thing - not sure what all will be involved, but they apparently have boat simulators and stuff that the kids will get to try out...and maybe the grownups too *grin*

2. it's 7am and, as usual, i have coffee. french vanilla.

3. my living room is a mess. surprise surprise.
 
My living room is a mess, also. My dgd is into baby dolls right now and they seem to like the middle of the floor!

1. It is supposed to be almost 80 today!!

2. Joyce has a 1/2 day today so hopefully we can get the little ones out in the yard today.

3. I actually got out my sewing machine this weekend and got some curtains made for Joyce's room and my dining room.
 
It is supposed to be warmer here today too. Not 80 but above 70. I am jealous Jennifer. I hate cold weather.

1. Our afterschool group is going to a movie today.
2. We are having a Thankgiving meal at church tonight.
3. We just had two large trees trimmed and I need to go rake the yard.
 
I hope it is a little warmer here today, and my living room is a mess too! But we have library books piled all over! I Love having an institution card! I can check out as many books as I want!
1- Two more days till we get to ride Moses!

2- My Ladies Bible class is going to dwindle because of Post Encounter classes. But at least they will be doing bible studies still!

3- I need to get back into my jogging routine!
 
I need to start an exercise routine of some sort. My doctor told me to and I have been walking some but not regularly.

1. We are having a calm morning today. Babyboy had doctor's appointments and isn't going to be here all day.
2. My neighbor who was going to move after her husband died on Halloween may get to stay here after all and we are so pleased.
3. I need a hair cut but keep putting it off.
 
1. The girls and I went to my best friends house last night to celebrate her "partners" birthday. We ate tons of cake and the kids all made up and put on hillarious skits. We got home late.

2. We slept late this morning and I hate that. I wish I would have got up when dh left at 6:45.

3. I am going to walk in a charity walk for lupus with my best friend this weekend.
 
i wish our library had an "institution card" - they have a limit of 25 items that can be signed out at once... seems like a lot, but it really isn't :lol:

1. it's fifteen minutes to midnight and i should be in bed...staring at the computer instead LOL

2. frustrated today because i've been looking for a winter jacket for cindy for a couple weeks now and haven't found one (she outgrew the one from last year) -- they're expensive in the stores so i've been watching at the thrift store for one in her size for a couple weeks, no luck yet ARGH.

3. she and i had a wonderful time at the marine training center today -- wow, the ship simulators they have there are AWESOME .. they're so realistic! you really feel like you're on a boat! coolness.
 
Well I slept in this morning, I got up at 6!

1. I have not had my cup of coffee yet this morning...

2. I am getting things ready to go from Thanks giving to Christ masing! Wee! We are going to dec the halls the Monday after Thanksgiving! Kids and I planned it all out!

3. I got my hair cut yesterday, she cut my bangs like a old lady, so I will have to shag them up a bit! lol
 
1. Dwayne is taking Samantha deer hunting in the morning. I think they are getting up at 4am to make the drive to my parents property. I'll be snug and warm in my bed till at least 9am.

2. The girls and I helped friends move today and will help some more tomorrow when they get back with the car from hunting.

3. I am trying to hit 3000 posts! Won't be long now!
 
i got up at 6 this morning too :)

1. it's 6:50am here and i'm sitting with my usual coffeeeeee......

2. i might have one of my before/afterschool kids (i'm babysitting two PS kids before/after/holidays/etc now) all day today, not sure yet... she was going a bit hoarse yesterday with her cold and her mom might not want her going to school....

3. just heard cindy making noises upstairs - that's odd, she usually sleeps in until the other girls get here....
 
I was up at 7:00 and put the turkey in the oven.

1. We ate at 11:30 with my dad, step-mom, son, dil, dh, Elijah and Gianna
2. Left at 1:00 to Dh's side of the family to eat again.
3. Came home and ate at 5:30. I am very full!!!
 
no turkey here - canada's thanksgiving was last month...happy thanksgiving to all the americans here though! :mrgreen:

1. dh is watching WWE something or other behind me, blech i can't stand that stuff

2. cindy & her friend kayla (one of my PS kids i babysit) are in the kitchen drinking hot chocolate and pretending that it's coffee and the kitchen is a fancy "coffee house" :lol:

3. waiting for the above mentioned child's mother to pick her up as it's after 9pm and it's time for our house to get a little quieter yes please. :p
