I personally think that when these things happen police should be brought in for regular,unannounced patrols. They need to get real about those cameras, too. I went to this school myself. In all the years I was there the worst thing that happened was a suicide. No bomb threats, no fires. This used to be a quality school and the kids had common sense. You know, I recently read an article about the prisoner abuse in Iraq, and how some of the acts were in movies like Dumb&Dumber. I seriously believe that a generation of parents tried too hard to be their kid's friends and that's why you have kids setting fires and creating unsafe conditions. No parental limits set.It was at a local lacross game that team members from one team attacked the other team, beating them with fists, sticks, and full body contact. Parents even joined in the beating. It was on our local cable channel, as it happened. It was numbing to watch. Those of us who are trying to raise our kids with integrity are left to fend for ourselves, I guess, and that's why they won't get my little one. It was rude, but I told them as much.
