My posts are disappearing.....

I have had two do it now, that I have caught. I always "read" them after posting to be sure they post correctly, so I don't think that they didn't post. One of them miraculously "reappeared", then this morning another one was missing!

Am I saying or doing something wrong? I've been a mod before, and even an owner of a forum, and I sure don't think these posts had anything objectionable in them.

Any ideas what can be causing this?
 
Try doing a search for all your posts, and see if they come up there when they seem to be missing. I don't have a clue what could make a post just disappear out of a place where it has been seen before.... and then reappear!
 
I just did a search for posts by you, and it said X-number out of 221, which tallies with the number of posts at the top of this current post...... so, none missing?
 
I still think it's too much eggnog!!!

When you try to get on, do you sometimes get a message that you can't access the database or something like that? It's happened twice to me in about three days, and when it does, I can't get in for quite some time. I have to quit and then try again later. MAYBE it will be better by then, or maybe not.
 
I couldn't get on here at all today and was chomping at the bit to share a cool website. I hope it was just a weird glitch and everything is back now.
 
That "database" thing happened to me a day or two ago, but not individual posts vanishing. ???
 
Well, I haven't had the database error on this site yet (I did on another site), and I haven't had a post disappear since posting this thread. Let's hope it was just some kind of glitch!

btw - I KNEW that eggnog tasted funny..... :shock:
