One of our fellow ladies here is going through a very very rough patch. I don't want to name any names.. so I won't.. but this person has become very dear to me and it is killing me to see her hurting. Everytime she starts to see the light at the end of the tunnel something else makes that tunnel even longer and the light at the end dims!

Please say a prayer..keep this fabulous mystery lady in your thoughts or just offer her a hug here.. I'm sure she will be reading this!

To my mystery friend... please don't be mad at me for posting this... I just want you to see that even though they don't know who you are here... you are loved!
(Now don't give yourself away ;))

Prayers here too for the mystery lady. Everyone here goes through rough times and I think it is great we can all pull together for each other.

I am praying and typing at the same time. I may not know your name (or screen name), but God does. And He knows the number of hairs on your head.

God wants to me share this story with you:

I am quite unwell today. I worked the Expo for 10 hours yesterday, rushed home, changed, and rushed out to work. NO downtime. I got home at 2:15am. I was back at the Expo by 8 am this morning. I was supposed to work again tonight, but I called in sick. By 4 pm, with 2 more hours to go at the Expo, I shut down and came home. I just wanted to put on some jammies and curl up with hot tea.

    God had another plan.

The most direct route to my house is to take one of the main roads. It was blocked with an accident. After inching along for 15 minutes I was able to turn on another road that would take me around.

But then I missed my next turn. At this point I was so sick and grumpy that when an impatient college-aged guy started honking behind me (I guess he thought my left turn was a little too slow), I slowed to a crawl. There was too much oncomming traffic for him to pass me. He honked and honked and waved with 1/5th of his hand. The more he honked, the slower I went. I don't deal well with rude people. He finally turned.

I went about my way and made it to another intersection and was about to make a right turn when the train lights started flashing. *sigh*. I just wanted to go home! I was ready to scream.

The train finally passed and I was about to make the turn onto my road when I saw a Shit-Zu running through a parking lot. It looked like it had a collar, so I, after much internal protest, figured I had an obligation to check for a tag. The dog was freshly groomed and obviously someone's beloved pet.

There was only a rabies tag, but he had a bandanna around his neck that was the distinctive 'trademark', if you will, of the groomer we take our dog to. Every dog leaves with one. I figured he had just been there so I called from my cell. The groomer was able to call the owner's cell and let her know where we were. She was franticly searching for him 6 blocks away after he jumped out of the car window at a stop sign. I even had a leash in my van because I forgot to take it in yesterday.

All that rambling to say: God allowed me to encounter frustrating road blocks that nearly brought be to tears. I just wanted to go home. What should have been a 10 minute trip took 45. BUT.... He timed it just perfect so I saw that little dog. I was able to help a family where others might not have been. He put me right where He wanted me through all those traffic trials. He gave me the knowledge (about the groomer), the equipment (leash), and the opportunity to have an impact in a positive way.

Did I enjoy the journey? No. Did I enjoy sitting in a parking lot with a scared, cold dog when I just wanted a comfy chair? No. Did I enjoy waiting for the owner? No. In retrospect, would I change anything if I could? No.

Just wanted to thank all you ladies! I really thought I had gotten myself in deep water (which I'm afraid of by the way), for posting this. But I did get a message today from the mystery lady (By the way mystery lady isn't fun to be known as mysterious???), and no she isn't mad. She has been very very busy. Please continue to keep her family in your thoughts. I know many of us love her very very much!

Please let our special lady know that we all love her!!!! We wish we could hug her but can only offer virtual hugs and support. She is certainly important to us. And she can't say that is only becuase we don't really know her....if she has been on this board long enough...we KNOW her. It is easier to let it all out and share online than in person. I know I have shared things with you ladies that i normally dont' just talk about. Although the tone of posts can be interpretted differently, I honestly think that we all know each other pretty well. So I KNOW this woman is special.

Just basing on pm's I've gotten.... Plus I don't want to start a new thread if it IS the same person. Sooooo, even if it is someone different, the prayers will cover our mystery people because God is just good like that!!! :D I'm still praying!
