What's for dinner?

We always have spaghetti on Sunday. Tomorrow will be no exception. I make it before I leave for church and let it simmer all day. My family loves spaghetti.

We have spaghetti a lot on Sundays, and are having it tomorrow, too! It's easy and fast.

Tonight was taco salad.
Mon. will probably be rotel chicken and peas.

We had power last night ( and still do, TG!) but dh preferred to bring home Jack-in-the-Box. And that was a good thing because I was just overwhelmed yesterday, so it really helped out.

IF the ice storm doesn't knock out the power tonight....I'm hoping to fix tomato basil penne pasta w/ ground turkey, seasoned green beans and garlic bread and sweet tea! Yum!

We're having leftover hamburger casserole tonight. Tomorrow it's going to be cold, so we're going to have minestrone soup. Yummy!

Well, I am going to jump in here! I had a pretty rough day (had to go grocery shoping and morning sickness is lasting until about 5 pm) so tonight, we are have
DRUM ROLL PLEASE
Grilled cheese sandwitches and chips!
How inspiring!
(that and I just discovered that I can't stand the smell of melting butter with with pregnancy!)

I made homemade lasagna, along with homemade cheese bread and honey. From the bread machine.

tomorrow! Wow I just got this meal cleaned up I don't know but Jackie's Oven Fried Chicken sounds good. Have a good recipe Jackie?

I'll post it, Kris, but not tonight. It comes straight from the Betty Crocker Cookbook. I make it with coated in cornflakes in my stoneware. My great aunt use to make it with cornflakes, so I still do because hers was SO GOOD! (Of course, mine doesn't compare!!! My great aunt was in a class all of her own when it came to cooking!)

Lovinhomeschool, Best wishes to ya Hon! I hope you find things you can fix and eat! I couldn't stand the smell of eggs or oily smells or cooking cheese smells---they were all too strong for me!

Are you craving anything yet?

We're supposed to get more snow after midnight tonight, and tomorrow will be cold too, so I think I'll make potato soup and cornbread and honeybutter for supper tomorrow (Tuesday) night!

Tonight we had parmesan crusted tilapia with seasoned green beans and noodles. Last night was baked pasta. Tomorrow we are having salsa chicken. Wednesday will be breakfast night. Thrusday we are having chicken and rice---easy minute rice recipe. Friday...I think we are going to have a stir fry but I just learned we are having company so I may have swiss chicken instead.

I always plan my meals a week in advance. I would go nuts if I didn't.

Wow Ava I wish I could plan my week ahead that would be great for me.

Deena, I will be over for supper tonight.

OK, Ava! Every Sunday we're going to expect your list of meals for the week, so we'll know what to cook, lol!

I found planning my week saved me time and money. Oh and it also saved me frustration...lol. We just got a new crock pot (old one broke) so I am excited to make more fun meals next week.

Oh Ava Rose my crockpot works all the time. I just don't plan ahead I wish I could. Maybe I need to start.

Come on over Kris! I can never cook small, and we almost always have leftovers, so I'm sure there will be plenty for you and your family too! :D

great Deena, I will pick you up around 4 you have it ready we will eat it on the way to timkelmom to get out of the cold.

I am finally getting to use my new crockpot my parents gave me for Christmas. I just put in a roast, carrots, potatoes, and onions to slow coook. I can't wait until the smell permeates the house!! YUM!
