Thanks for passing that along! Noah and I got up bright and early to watch it (although it really wasn't so bright when we got up!). We really enjoyed!

Yeah I think that was the problem here - cloudy. It is supposed to rain here most of the week. When I went out is was hazy. I did see another neighbor out trying to look too.

I didnt see nothing. The moon wasn't around. I called my dad and told him I couldn't find the moon. He said to look up. GRRR Anyhow kept going outside and nothing. I think it was behind the duplex across the street from me. Anywho the sun seems more bright today. It came right thru the shades. Okay the cracks the of the shades but very bright. Hubby said he didnt' see it either. Oh we are on the east coast.

I actually just saw the news. Chance of rain all week and weekend. I believe here in Houston the forcast for the weekend is something like 40%. Today is 60% and we are supposed to go to park day. I hope we don't get rained out!

Thanks for the photos of the moon.
The moon was so big and beautiful last night, but this morning the clouds were out. We saw a few stars, but not the eclipse.

    We saw it!!!
It was early evening here - we stood and watched the shadow come over the moon after gymnastics class this evening. By the time we got home it was glowing red. dh & the kids went up on the roof to get a better view....I could see just fine from in front of the house, lol.
I tried to take a photo but my poor camera couldn't even bring it up on the view screen. Oh well. It was very cool. Shame you guys missed it.

We say it, it was cool!
We got up in the middle of the night, 2 30ish here,
stayed up to around 4 am, and then decided we had seen enough this time and didnt want mommy to stay up the rest of the day or ds who sleeps like me!
If we are up at 5 we are up for the day , its a weird querp to pass on to one of your kids lol

We saw it too!!! I was so afraid a storm was going to blow in and block the view but NOPE it was C L E A R!!I got up at 4:30 and got the kiddos up at 5:00. The mosquitos were AWFUL. So we went inside and came out every 15 minutes or so to see how it had changed. It was AWESOME!!! When we first went out the shadow was just starting over the moon and the next time it was partially red. The next time completely red and then we saw it coming out of the shadow. THAT was so COOL!! In between viewing times I cooked breakfast and we ate. Today is hubbys 31st b-day so we made it a little special for him this morning. Too bad you all didn't get to see it. It was absolutely AMAZING.

I was so disappointed. We couldn't see it. It was too low by 6am. Next time I will set the clock for the beginning time not the middle!
