I use Pure Cream by Origins. You can use it dry or wet. I have used many things in the past. I have used scrubs, dove facials, and things of that nature. So far I really like the Pure Cream...it isn't drying nor does it give my face too much moisture. It smells great, easy to use and is organic. It also only takes a few minutes. I also use moisterizer and eye cream.
Soap and water... but, I've been thinking that I need to start using something more moisturizing since I'm getting older. I'll take a look at what you girls think is good (as long as it's not expensive).
My derm. told me water only! But I use an Oil of Olay face cream afterwards! I'm thrilled with it! See, I have weird skin--It's very dry, but when I used products on it to moisturize it, I would get zits! Even stuff made for my type of skin! So I was excited to find that that doesn't happen with this one!
My biggest problem is my T-Zone. I was using Oil of Olay beauty bar to wash my face. It seemed alright for a while but I started noticing my face drying out. So I found a face bar from Almay. It smells like unscented soap,  it smells like unscented soap:lol:, but it seems to be gentle enough on my skin. I still am trying to find something that works, but still moves me away from soap or facial bars. Perhaps I need to get away from makeup so I can go with water only.
I use soap and water to wash but I do use a moisterizing cream. Samantha uses proactive once a day and her skin is really looking so much better. Anything dries my skin out so I always moisterize.
I use a tea tree soap made from a local organic soapmaker. I use Burt's Bees repair oil for a very light moisturizer- my skin breaks out easily and everything else seems to affect it.
I just bought the mineral makeup from Avon. I haven't received it yet but am looking forward to trying it.
PATTY! I am sorry I didn't answer you on the Pure Cream...I am just seeing this now. I have only found it at Macy's. It was $15.00 but has lasted a long time. After being disappointed so many times, I didn't mind paying a bit more and knowing if it didn't work I could return it. I do believe they have a website where you can buy things also. Just check to see the return policy. I like knowing I can return products that don't work.
Ava, it is okay! I do this all the time. Sometimes I post questions and then forget to look at the replies. Thanks for sharing.
