I almost forgot! I received the mineral powder foundation from Avon and it appears to look dry when I put it on. I put moisturizer on my hand and tried it again, it looked better. I am going to try it one more time, in the morning, when my face is clean and moisturized. Hopefully it looks better.
I ordered the Avon minerals and the color was all off. I got the Ivory and didn't care for the paleness of it. I am pale enough, I need some color. The next darkest color looked like mud on me. The Everyday Minerals have a lot of color choices depending on your skin. They have many colors for each of their catagories: warm, golden, cool, beige, buff and olive. I am buff and use the color Fairly Light Neutral. They have 31 colors and Avon has about 6. They also have matte, semi-matte and transleusent in the foundations. Quite a range of colors. You can order samples too. Hope you like the Avon minerals, what color did you order? I use Avon lip stick, eye liner and eye shadow.
I'm a Dove soap girl. Nothing special, just the regular original white bar. I also use a Nivea moisturizer...something about wrinkle minimizing, with sunscreen. I'm too lazy to walk back there and find out exactly what kind it is. I don't wash my face with soap every day...it would be too drying. So some days I just splash off with water.
I use olive leaf soap in the morning and a soap with Q10 in the evening. I use a scrub 2-3 days per week. I also use a light moisturizer in the morning and a night cream for bedtime.
I ordered Bisque. In the magazine it looked fair to medium in color. When I put it on, it is darker than my skin. In the magazine I received with my order today, the color is actually darker in the book than when I ordered it.:| I figure that I get a tan every spring and summer so perhaps it will match better later.
I moisturized my face a lot today and the mineral powder looked much better. It covers very well with one application. But I still do not care for the color. I think I am going to keep it for later in the season and move on to something else.
