That's why I add the pulp to different things I make. I know my MIL uses her pulp in veggie soup. I use my pulp because we do a lot of fruit in muffins.

You should have seen the mess I made!!! LOL

Vegetable bread is one of my favorites. At least my mom's recipe is my favorite. Well, I had just juiced apples, pears, spinach, and carrots. I figured I would add this to the recipe. Then I figured I would try to make my own bread recipe.:|

    Big mistake!!!!!

It came out as a cross between a brick and mushy, yet cooked, vegetable bread! LOL

Next time I will just stick to the recipes.

Their is a Jack Lalanne at a garage sale down the road for $20. I wasn't sure if I should get that or wait and get a vita mixer. Any recommendations???? I would like for the juicer to use some of the pulp just not all of it.

We love our jack Lalane. I got mine in the box at a thrift store for $5! It's a really old model-but still works great!

I have both. I don't use my juicer as much as my vitamix. I like juice. I just hate to waste the pulp. The vitamix allows you to have the fibre along with the juice. I love to make smoothies. However when you want juice the juicer is awsome. I have a juiceman juicer. So I guess it depends on what you are wanting it for. $20 seems like a great deal to try one out. I bet if you don't like it you could always sell it yourself, and get your money back.

The other day I juiced a lot of cherries. I made syrup for our waffles out of it and canned it. My family loves it and it sure beats buying fruit syrup. Yum!

Do you still like/use your juicer?

Hi there! I was wondering if you still use/like your Jack Lalanne juicer? I was looking to start juicing and I saw one at Costco.

I tried the link for the book you recommend, but it didn't work. Do you remember the name and do you still use your juicer?

I have a Breville juicer that my daughter gave me. I haven't used it yet but need to try it out.

I no longer have it. I put it in the garage when we painted the kitchen and never used it again. So I got rid of it. I really liked it, but I am no longer interested in juicing. Now I toss everything in the blender and make smoothies. It is easier and filling. :D
