There are many meanings, but the one I would use would be this: A magnificent or impressive array/display. Milquetoast (I just recently learned how to spell that word!)

Functionary: One holding office in a government or political party I hope people join in on this, I think it's fun to learn new words and challenge others on words! Okay here's the new word: PTERIDOPHYTE My oldest took a Science class and they learned this word when he was in 7th grade.
