Someone sent this to me: http://suzzly.com/snuggiepromo.php It's for a free Snuggie Blanket...there isn't even a S&H charge. Item is supposed to arrive in 6 weeks. Is this a hoax? Will it be sent? NO clue. I am just passing this along. I do reviews and I know that it is not uncommon to get offers like these...so I signed up..why not?...and passing it to you ladies.
I'll bite, too. I bought one for DH (he begged) a couple of weeks ago, so now I do see the usefulness.
I couldn't get it to work. I kept getting invalid phone number message. I know my phone number was right. I tried it with/without dashes and no luck.
I signed up. It gave me the same phone error message till I did the phone like this (xxx) xxx-xxxx. HTH
Thanks! I did try to fill out the form to get one, but it kept saying I had not filled out the phone portion. I cannot figure out why.
I hope it works for you. I saw the link on My savings a few days ago and people there were leary of it.
I also got the phone error message, but after putting it in as (xxx) xxx-xxxx (make sure there's a space between area code and prefix) it worked. It took me a while to get it to work, though.
I heard something on talk radio about two months ago that this company had been reported to the BBB. Apparently when people placed an order their credit cards were automatically signed up for a monthly charge of over $100 for some bogus service (can't remember exactly what it was). People were having to go through the hassle of cancelling things and getting credit card companies to take the charges off and stop payment. Because of that I am a little leary of this company.
Well, they don't have my card number, so that isn't a problem. All they can do is send me junk/call, and I don't have to accept any of that!
I learned that lesson long ago. ALWAYS read the fine print on everything. When I signed up for an automatic shipment thing with Proactive, they did the same thing to me. They started sending me $50 worth of vitamins in addition to my Proactive. But I couldn't really complain about them being the problem as it was in the fine print. If I'd have taken the time to read what I was agreeing to, I would have known that. Of course I cancelled it, but I didn't dispute the charges. Again, it was my fault for failing to read before signing, so to speak. I'm with Jackie on this one. The worst they can do is send me more junk mail. lol. (They can't call me thanks to the glorious Missouri no call list)
Why can't they call? The phone number was REQUIRED on the form. I don't know about Missouri, but if you give THEM your phone number, then you also give them permission to call. Or at least, I think that's how it works!
If she's like me, it's because a) she doesn't answer unknown phone numbers or b) she does the "sorry, I'm not interested" three seconds in and hangs up. Wish I'd read the whole thread before fighting with the phone # lol.
I filled it out too. Thanks Birbitt, you tip helped. Now we'll wait and see if it comes. I don't mind getting e-mail because I have a separate e-mail for this sort of thing, and I didn't give them my real phone number. I can't wait to see if we all get them. Thanks, Ava, for sharing this with all of us.
