The Missouri No Call list trumps my giving anyone my number. If they do call once, it's fine. But if they call after I say, "I'm on the Missouri No Call list and you are not welcome to call back" then they are legally not allowed. Our no call list kicks butt. ;)

And, as someone else said, I don't answer numbers I don't recognize on the caller ID (what the heck did we do before such a marvelous invention?!)

Yup I LOVE my Caller ID! It's also helpful for avoiding annoying inlaws, but that's a VERY long story!

No caller ID here. You have to pay extra for it and I'm to cheap - I mean frugile.

Nope, didn't expect to either, there have been quite a few times when things have shown up online as free, I have sent a request or what ever and never got it, I don't hold my breath.

ahhhh... now I just went back to that site, and they were to contact you by phone for a survey to get your free snuggie, guess it's like all the other online gimmicks these days. I don't answer our house phone most of the time, anyone who wants to call me that I want to talk to have my cell number.

Nah, but I didn't expect to either. I don't answer unknown numbers either, so I would've missed any survey.

The only phone surveys that I got were for a free cruise. But of course I would have to pay the cost of getting to where the cruise takes off from, the over night stay in that area, and food when off the boat. It was only one day cruise.

I also am getting a bunch of emails now as a result of this. Blech!

I didn't get mine either. I have no idea about the telemarketers as I only use my cell. Guess it was stupid afterall. What a shame. Sorry I led everyone! You know, I have recieved many free things in the mail before with no strings attached. I also do product reviews and know that company's love to send out freebies..so I guess I wasn't thinking when it came to this ad. Especially since it was recommended by another mom. Oh well. Such is life.

I am sorry, but I am not sold on the Snuggie. I have a bath robe that not only has sleeves, but covers my back when I want to walk around. I have no need for a blanket with sleeves that will not stay closed on my back.

I made fun of DH for a long time because he wanted one (so I subsequently purchased one for him). I had the same argument presented here.

However, as more of a gag gift, he bought one for me a few weeks ago and I can now see what the hype is about. When I'm laying around reading, I couldn't ever get my robe to stay in place covering my legs, especially if I was shifting from time to time. I always had to have my robe on and a blanket, but that was often too warm. So I'd ditch the robe for the blanket, but then my arms were left uncovered while holding my book.

The Snuggie solves this problem completely. Even my feet are covered. Yeah, I take it off when I get up, but that's no different than any other blanket.

LOL! I have an aunt who buys EVERY "as seen on TV" thing out there. She says those just get stopped up with dirt when you put them in the soil.. but they look pretty!
