    I know precisely what a "glug" is and a "smidge" a "splash".

    I use "just a touch" and the Hubbs looks at me like I'm nuts too :p

    Now see... I was raised in the Midwest, so we also measure by skoshes (long o sound), as in "just a skosh"; and dollops, as in a dollop of whipped cream. I also pour out canola oil by "turns"- when the oil starts coming out you back off and turn the bottle to stop (I measured once and it's about 1 Tbsp of oil).

    Oh, and don't forget taking a hair off,
    or an eensy bit,
    or snippets.

    LOL I understood what you meant instantly...but I asked my husband and he said, Do what??? LOL my 12 yr old son looked at me like I was crazy :cool:
