The kids love taco salad and hamburger pinwheels (hillbilly housewife has that recipe). Hubby loves meatloaf, and spaghetti with meat sauce. I like mashed potatoes with hamburger gravy. Oh and everyone loves shepherd's pie.

Gravy. lol. I make homemade biscuits, and then brown some ground beef in my cast iron skillet. I drain the grase out, but leave about a table spoon or two. Put enough flour in to soak up the grease (usually it's a handful or two), stir, and then quickly put in the milk. I don't measure exactly how much milk...I kinda just know...but I usually fill my skillet half way up with milk. Stir, let it boil/simmer until thick, stirring occasionally. Great stuff. I season it with salt, pepper, onion flakes, and a dash or two of Rooster sauce.

DH also makes some MEAN sweet meatballs!!!!

Porcupine meatballs - my boys' favorite!

Beat an egg, add 2lbs ground beef and 1 box beef rice a roni (set seasoning aside). Form into meatballs (I do about golfball sized) and brown on all sides. Mix seasoning packet with 2 1/2 cups hot water and pour over meatballs. Turn to low and simmer 25-30minutes or until done. We LOVE to eat them with A-1 steak sauce.

Swedish Meatballs. Or slow cooker meatballs are awesome. You can make a huge pot of slowcooker meatballs with sauce and have with pasta or for a meatball sandwich.

You can make crockpot stuffed shells! I just tried it this week. SOO delicious! This is the recipe we used, minus the onion and garlic cloves. We also only used 24oz of sauce instead of 32 because J is not very big on sauce!

my dh's fave thing to do is to cook up ground beef & then add a few cans of tomato soup - yep, just like that. he's eaten it that way since he was a kid and has both our kids liking it too. kinda boring i guess, but they enjoy it

meatloaf? add it to spaghetti sauce? homemade hamburgers? sloppy joes? (another fave here with the dh and kids)

Oh another one is this brown your beef then mix in condensed mushroom soup-yeah I know high in sodium- and serve over pasta. You can add in other things to your sauce according to taste. Anyway it's nice for a refreshing taste after so much tomato sauce.
