I have a great link on my other computer- I will find that for you later. In the mean time, there is americanpresidents.org or kidsdomain.com/holiday/presday.html or http://www.worldalmanacforkids.com/explore/presidents.html

For my 4th and 6th grader this year they are going to study presidents by state- how many were born in PA, or Virginia, etc. They can use mapping skills, graphing, geography, and timeline studies with this. (Another idea I read somewhere is to have kids graph out the names- how many have William in their whole name, or John, or Henry, etc. I thought that sounded interesting.)

Hope that helps, and I will try to find that other link.

I don't know what happened to that world almanac site, but it should be "explore/presidents.html". oops.

That's funny about the laundry baskets. I was just thinking yesterday that I need to get some more laundry baskets. I never seem to have enough. Maybe it would help if I folded all of the clothes and put them away.LOL
Will I even remember to buy new laundry baskets ? We'll see.I survive by writing notes to myself. How do you cope ? LOL

I got tired of cracked laundry baskets so I bought the mesh popup ones instead. One for each of us and each one holds about two loads of laundry. I don't think I'll ever go back!

heh I forget stuff at walmart too... but Sami usually reminds me so I don't have to make extra trips.

had to take the basket back it was too small. We tried the mesh pop up ones, my sons are too rough with thier laundry haha. So now I am back to plastic, tough hard plastic ones this time with reinforced handles! (grin)
I got my placemats, got one on the world in english and spanish as well! on the same page!
So now three kids can take turns with pres, and pres, and world facts mats! whoo hhooo!
