Jen, For the majority of what you have said, I agree with 100%. I am at a point, that I believe that our government is doing NOTHING to help US citizens but to help those who do sneak into the country suceed. I really believe that "We the People..." DO NOT have a voice in much of what the goverment does. They are going to do things their way anyway. It really scares me sometimes.
Okay, my family is mixed Canadian and American, when we went to live in canada we got to go live there as Landed Imigrents.. I think that if people are willing to WORK they need to be willing to go through the same process the rest of us do, apply for a job, get a work visa, and work. But if people are goign to come to my country to laz around and spounge off my goverment that I pay taxes into.. well thats another think! I agree we should make it easy enough to do things legally , but make it punishable to do it illegally. I don't knwo why we have so many long lists coming into our country ... but I do know that anything worth getting is worth waiting for! And doing it right.
