I can not wait! Today is it. I won't be back until September 1st. I have been wrapping up a few things online this morning. Senidng emails, doing paper work and sending out goodbyes. I printed out a blank US map for the kids. I'm going to have them color the states they have already been to and when we cross into a new state they can color that in on their maps. I think they will like that. We will be taking our dog Gunner to the kennel this afternoon. I'm not looking forward to that at all. I hate leaving him!:cry: I hope he doesn't have seperation anxiety! Next we will go to the bank and get out the cash we need. Then to the grocery store for some deli meats and cheeses. We always take yummy sandwich stuff along on trips because we love to have picnics. After my errands we will come back home and clean the car out. Then pack our clothes!!! The girls packed their backpacks for the car yesterday and filled them with coloring books and card games for the trip. Oh my gosh I can't even believe this trip is finally here!
I'm sure I will have tons of pictures when I return! At least we aren't camping. I just found out yesterday that earlier this month my friend's best friend and her family were tent camping just outside Smoky Mountain NP and a black bear came to their campsite, to the tent, one night. That is some scary stuff!
