My oldest son is going 5 hours away to college! This momma isn't taking it so well! :cry: He doesn't leave for a few months now, but it's still killing me. Only a few short weeks of teaching and he's gone! Not only that but, my oldest dd has decided she wants to take dual credit at our community college! While that's great and will free up alot of my time, it still scares me! She only has 3 years left until she graduates! It goes by way to fast! :cry: Okay, i'm done now!
I know it will be a bittersweet transition for me. I am uncertain how I will handle it when Ems time comes. The wonderful thing is you got them where they need to be at this time. Way to go!
Aww, these threads about kids growing up and starting their lives is making me sad! My oldest will be 16 this year and going into 11th grade. What happened? It seemed like it was just yesterday when she was learning to read and playing on the swings. Now she's talking about everything she's gonna do when she graduates-in two years! It's going to go by so quickly. I'm just in tears now......
I joke with Handsome that we need to have another so I can continue homeschooling. lol Seriously, I am going to miss Ems when she leaves. I am already thinking of what I can do once she is gone.
