That is a nice looking van. I love the way the seats turn but I would get car sick riding backwards. The kids would love it though.

Last year we bought the 2007 Caravan, we didn't get the Grand, Elijah just said, we should have waited. I like the idea of the windows and the swivel seats and table.

We had a toyota Sienna and really loved it. We traded for a truck because we LOVE camping. well after spending a week in Daddy's car, it's time to go back to a van. We are a family of 5 and his car doesnt hold us. It's a two door honda civic.

I have a 2006 Chevy Uplander. It has the same SUV look as that van, but not the windows and seats like that. It is MUCH roomier than our old Nissan Quest though!!

I don't have a minivan, nor will I ever own one lol. But that is really cool! If I were to buy a minvan I'd buy a Toyota Sienna- safety ratings and reliability can't be beat.
I see a lot of uplanders around here- sorry, they still look like minvans lol. No matter what you do to it, it will still look like a minivan lol.

I am DROOLING!!!! MAN THAT WASC OOL!

I'm loving the Dodge's lately. The only station wagon I'd ever consider owning is that daggum Magnum...man it is SAAAAWHEEEEET!

Oh well....we have to wait until my husbands truck is paid off b/f we can consider another car. 3 more years.

We have a 1999 minivan that maybe gets 6K a year on it (me around town and a vacation or two). Hoping it lasts another 3 years! :D

I wasn't going for looks, but the dealer told me that Chevy was trying to make the vans look sportier to compete with the SUV market. We never buy new- so we don't really pick out a brand that we like, just shop for what meets our needs in our price range. My request was that it had to be roomier. The Quest was a great van but inside was tiny!! You had to squeeze between the captains chairs to get to the back seat.

Dh and I are going shopping for a new ride this weekend. I hated mini vans until I drove one last October for about 3 weeks when my car was in the shop. I really want one but he hates the way they look and refuses to own a mini van! It is perfect for families! we have two kids and a dog and one of the kids always has friends around. A mini van would be perfect but dh says no.

I have a mini van, it was great when we got it two years ago, but now ds16 in a week is too long to ride in it comfortably so our long riding days are numbered. I will not be purchasing another mini van. That one looked super though! How cool for you! Go for it!

We have a truck and a motorcycle. I can deal with having a minivan again. Besides we need another auto that can tow. The car cannont tow. DH said he can buy it while he is on deployment. He can get a better deal because they have specials while on the boat. DOn't know much about it except after we buy our next RV, we are getting a van.

We have a 1998 Toyota Sienna, the first year they made the Sienna. It's been WONDERFUL! I might look at a Honda mini van, but no other. The performance and reliability ratings are VERY important to us! Whether we bought new or used, we'd always go with the most reliable cars or wait until we could afford them. It's well worth it! We actually got aur van for a one-day $6,000. off sale! It was SWEET! We were looking at mini-vans, and I went and test-drove the Sienna. 2 days later they advertised the sale. And sure enough, it was REALLY a sale---$6,000 less than it was 2 days before! So we ended up getting it that day, instead of waiting awhile like we had planned. It's been paid off for some time now, and is over 90,000 miles, but it's still running absolutely great! My sister had a Caravan that had transmission troubles almost constantly. She traded it in on a Grand Caravan, and while she was on a trip, it's transmission QUIT, just like that. I've heard other stories like that also. But maybe the newer ones have fixed that problem, but they were known for that for awhile, at least! Just be careful! We ALWAYS look at Consumer Reports and see what they say about something, for some good, un-biased information.
