    This site is amazing!
    http://www.thegateway.org/teaching-learning

    BUT GO HERE, TO SEARCH:
    http://www.thegateway.org/

It is a portal that you can search to find teaching lesson plans and materials for learning in the 21st century.

    What they say:
Today’s education system faces irrelevance unless we bridge the gap between how students live and how they learn. Schools are struggling to keep pace with the astonishing rate of change in students' lives outside of school. Students will spend their adult lives in a multitasking, multifaceted, technology driven, diverse, vibrant world--and they must arrive equipped to do so. Learning for the 21st Century.

Again, this is a portal, or you could say a database of like minded educational links.

For example: I did a search on "Christmas" and found a great lesson plan about "What I want for Christmas", teaching middle school kids how to make a spreadsheet on Excel.... TOO COOL!
That particular lesson plan is here...
    http://alex.state.al.us/lesson_view.php?id=14761

It includes all things needed and if you do not have Excel, just download the Open Office version for free. (The link in on my site on the Free Office tab.

How cool! I'm going to use this with my kids since they are older and I'm currently taking a computer class. Thanks for sharing your find!
