She begins today with her take on the story of Charles Schwab and the 'six list.' (follow the link to read another telling of the same story). Mary Challenge: Make your own six list. Put the most important things first, and then finish them in order (do not skip around). What you don't accomplish on that day's list put at the top of the next day's list. Martha Challenge: Kitchen- Clean out and organize all your cabinets.
NOOOOO!!! I don't want to. (and you can't make me.) remember that picture I posted. All those cabinets are crammed full of stuff. I knew this was coming. I just knew it. Ok. I guess it is for my own good. sigh. (does this include pantry? please say no)
hmmm... the six list is interesting. I do something similar in my prayer journal. On Sunday of each week I write down 4-5 priorities I want to accomplish in this week. Typically there are 3-4 big chores and some recurring things like Exercise each day 20 minutes, read bible and pray daily. I pray over this list and commit to the Lord that I will do everything in my power to get it done. I don't beat myself up though if I am really trying and something doesn;t happen.
Hey that is what I do, I just didn't know it. I have a hard time doing the things in order, because of the nature of our business, and the fact I have kids. Somethings have to be done during nap time. ; )
