Last night, we went to our first 4-H meeting of the year. We joined new club this year. The one we were in last year had 3 meetings that we kind of a free-for-all and then kind of dissolved, so we have no idea what a real meeting involves. Anyway, they held officer elections and dd11 was elected president and dd14 was elected SOA. I was shocked when dd11 won because there was a young man about 16 years old who has been in 4-H for a while who was also nominated. I later realized that 75% of the group was from our homeschool group. I guess that's politics Anyway, we have no idea what we have gotten ourselves into. Anyone have any experience/advice for us?
