    Well we are on our way after a very late breakfast to go and collect the animals that were not sold at auction (on purpose).

    Some of the bigger ribbons:

    DD - Alexis - age 9

    * Grand Champion Nigerian Dwarf Goat Doe
    * Reserve Champion Overall Goat Doe
    * 2nd Place 100% Boer Goat Doe
    * Grand Champion Market (Meat) Chickens
    * Reserve Champion Bantam Hen

    DS - Jacob - age 12

    * Reserve Champion Market Chickens
    * Reserve Champion Boer Goat Buck
    * 1st Place in Class Bred and Owned Market Lamb
    * Reserve Champion Bred and Owned Market Lamb Pair

    There are some other ones - but those are the biggies that I can remember off the top of my head :)

    I'm really proud of how they did this year. Alexis is coming home with the champion little nigerian buck to breed with her champion doe (he looks cool)....and the person who bought her bottle baby - her market goat Pug who was in our house for a month or so in January..... donated him back to her - so she is thrilled with that.

    I even won a ribbon for pickles (I think) which was cool.... and something else for my canned soup mix.

    Oh well - gotta go and get stuff loaded up....and cleaned up....

    Way to go everyone. Sounds like you had a very fun fair. We managed to get down and spend one evening at ours seeing the sights. The girls favorite part was walking through the animal barns and seeing all of their friends projects.
