Hi. I am an unfortunate junior in a public school in Minnesota. I am required to write a research paper on homeschooling. Furthermore, I am required to conduct a "balanced survey" in which I must survey homeschooled kids and publicly schooled kids. I only know one homeschooled girl, so if you could answer these next four questions quick it would be a great help! THANKS!

    6. Would you continue homeschooling given the opportunity?
    Yes No

    7. What is the best aspect of being homeschooled?
I can go my own speed.
I can choose what I want to learn.
    It’s a good environment.
    My schooling has flexibility.

    8. Do you feel you receive a better education than students attending public school?
    Yes No

    9. How would you characterize public school students?
(intelligent, unintelligent, the same as any student, radical, religious, snobbish, motivated, sophisticated, socially inept, isolated, unmotivated, corrupt, ect.)

In a heart beat no second thoughts about it

Loving environment in which the child learns in the way that fits their learning style, progressing at the pace in which suits them best

Absolutley do... here the children in public school are a year behind for what they're supposed to learn at the grade level they're in (if a child is in grade 4, the material they are being taught is actually grade three by the provincial standards). If a child in grade five in public school wants to go to the private school, he or she is automatically put into grade four because they're a year behind.

Exposed to things they shouldn't be exposed to at a young age... to behaviours, to bullies (from peers AND teachers). Forced to grow up in a sick world exposed to lies that don't reflect our morals... Does homeschooling a child make them snobs... absolutely NOT. I believe the decision to home school any child regardless of their abilities or inabilities is the best decision any parent can make for their child.
