Hello everyone. It's been awhile so I figured I'd reintroduce myself. I homeschool dd,9 and dd,7. My ds,3, will begin in the fall. I've been gone during the school year....was expecting our 4th in August and lost the baby. I didn't feel much like typing for awhile...but I'm getting ready for summer and thinking about next school year. I'm glad to be back!

Thank you. We're praying for another child. It's good to be back here. We have gone to a co-op for the past year for some support. (I know only 2 other home schooling families personally.) It's nice to talk to other home schoolers. We've home schooled for a year and a half. The road isn't easy but I'm beginning to see the fruit of my labor in the character and consideration that my daughters show.

I dont know many homeschoolers either.... just 2 other families lol.
As far as my kids character since we started homeschooling.... well it could still be improved upon lol. We went to the ear nose and throat dr today and my older 2 boys were awful. I think we need to have a few more talks on behaving in public.

How are you doing after the mc? It took me a long time to "get over" mine. I still think about it, it was one of my toughest trials. It was my first time being pregnant and we told everyone we were expecting. It was so hard going out and having people ask me about the baby....

If you need to talk just pm me.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss! There is quite a few of us gals on here that have been there. My youngest, now 12, is my "after 3 preemies, 2 miscarriages (1 boy and then twins), give everything away because it's not meant to be, going back to school" baby! I had literally given everything away and was in my first semester back at school when I got pregnant with her. When she was little I was joking around with her and asked her where in the world I got her from and she said "God sent me because he wanted me to have friends to play with" and I had to laugh. She has been a blessing.

I homeschooled her last year and my dh decided she "needed" to be back at ps so we went that route this past Aug but he saw that that wasn't working and we pulled her back out after Christmas break. I have been blown away at the difference in her personality. That and how much she is growing!
