8 year old to teach

    Plus, I would add that you don't know what these parents will be like. They might want such specific proof of how they are progressing! They might want progress in very specific ways which of course would be difficult.

    think of all of our posts about our kids hating writing or not wanting to read, etc. Now think of having to explain that to the parent on a DAILY basis!

    So what about the money I could be getting? These are tough times, you know. :D

    Okay,okay, I see your point...money isn't everything. Hmmmm... thanks ... alot to chew on.

    I guess it comes down to two things. Are you able to legally homeschool this child and are you ready to take on everything that comes along with it.

    Legally, I can. The parents will pull her out of school in Jan. if I decide. Now,the other emotions that run with it ... that's the pickle!

    ya, I hear ya wiht he money thing that and the love of teaching is why I thought of teaching to preschool kid, but hey, I have to know my own kids well enough to know it wont work
