Hello, I am new and I joined because I have been teaching for 9 years of home schooling plus Preschool / K teaching in private schools I am currently teaching 3/4th grader and 7/8th grader. Does anyone have any help for me in teaching 8th grade math and grammar review for my Daughter. She is 12 and in the 7/8th grade this year, she started early. I am looking at different curriculum Abeka for Grammar, and the school she may attend in tenth uses Saxon Math. My older son uses that now and I do not see the difference between that and Alpha Omega Life Paks myself. If anyone has used both can you tell me what the difference is? Also has anyone used the DVD verson of either Abeka or Alpha Omega, and are there any others out there? My daughter is asking to use one for something different this year.
