Ladies, someone sent me this link. It's fairly short, but I felt it was very well done. I'm usually not one to "forward" lots of stuff, but some of you may want to check this out.... http://members.cox.net/classicweb/email.htm
I didn't see this thread when it was first posted, but I just visited... all I can say is WOW. It made me cry. It brought back memories. I will caution anyone who visits to go ahead and read the info about it FIRST... http://members.cox.net/classicweb/Heroes/info.htm It shows still pictures from events on 9/11. These things were shown on TV that day. This post was "reported" to me, but I'm not going to censor the link just because someone might not like seeing it, but I did want people to understand it brings back strong memories of 9/11. 9/11 happened. I wish I could delete 9/11 instead.
We should watch often I feel that watching this clip helps me to be more thankful of what God has done for me and what He has given me. If we watched it every day we couldn't thank God too much.
Someone sent us this webpage address a while back. It has a powerful message about the cost of freedom throughout our country's history and now. I thank God for our heroes in and out of uniform! Anne
I'm not sure I'm ready to visit the link, we lived in DC and it is still so very painful. Thank you Jackie, for link and Amanda for screening it. I never forget that day as long as I live. Bless everyone who continues to remember. Tammy
Did any of you see the report on the news back then, that the smoke was visible from space? That blew me away. That night, I never saw so many stars out. We're in town, and the stars are hard to see. There were so many, I believe there was one for every person lost. I really believe that.
